Invented behind the chair.
ContourFoil didn't start in a lab. It started with a stylist reaching for the hundredth foil of the day and folding it, again, around a curve it was never cut for.
Brooke Fischer
Edit me — placeholder bio (~120 words)
Brooke Fischer is a working hairstylist and the founder of Brooke Fischer Designs. After years at the color bar, she kept running into the same quiet problem no one talked about: the foil is a rectangle, and the head is not. The nape, the neckline, behind the ears — the slowest, fussiest sections of every placement — were slow because a straight edge simply doesn't fit a curve.
So she changed the shape. ContourFoil is the tool she wished the industry had already made: an angled edge that follows the hairline, folds exactly like the foil she already used, and wastes less metal doing it. It's a small change with an obvious logic — the kind that only comes from doing the work every single day.
